Aluminum Dip Brazed Assemblies
Depending on the application, Dip brazing offers an excellent joining method for a wide variety of assemblies and applications. Due to the uniform heating and cooling characteristics of the dip brazing process and the ability to fill joints through capillary action, it often a cost effective approach and a better alternative to welding, spot-welding and riveting.

The typical brazed assemblies we manufacture require AWS C3.7 Brazing Specification (replaces MIL-B-7883) for both Vacuum and Dip Brazing. In most cases, we provide a complete mechanical assembly; including hardware installation, mechanical assembly, structural bonding and component assemblies.

Aluminum Vacuum Brazed Assemblies
We also provide Aluminum Vacuum Brazed assemblies per AWS C3.7 Brazing Specification; in most cases our applications include brazing folded fin stock brazed into aluminum housings for cooling requirements. For most of these applications, the customer prefers dip brazing vs. vacuum brazing due to a weight concern or they are concerned with flux entrapment in areas of high density fins and semi-closed cavities.
